Aqiimuk, my Inupiaq name, passed from generation-to-generation. Inupiaq (northern Alaskan Eskimo) on my mother's side and English/Danish on my father's side (they settled in America in the 1700s).

Pacific Northwest
Although raised in the Interior of Alaska (now called Central Alaska), I have lived many years in the Pacific Northwest. Acclimated to the wet, blustery winters.
